Thanks to the voters who stood up for our Election Day voting rights!!!

Thanks to the hundreds of Denton County voters who showed up at Denton County Commission meetings over the summer to stand up for countywide Election Day voting!!!

As Election Workers and Judges reminded the county commissioners of all the reasons we need countywide Election Day voting -- Vote Centers -- these folks stood in silent peaceful support for voting rights that 87% of Texas voters in other counties already enjoy.

And another 1,800 voters -- not political party insiders, just average voters from all over Denton County -- signed the petition for Vote Centers that was given to the commissioners on Sept 1.

Now it's time to turn protest into action: This fall, support and vote for the three Commission candidates who have pledged to give our county Vote Centers.
