Take the first step to let county elected officials
know you want Vote Centers Now!

1. Stand up for Voting Rights at a Commission Meeting. Sign up to show up and support an Election Worker who will be speaking for 3 minutes at the beginning of a County Commission weekly 9 am Tuesday meeting.  You won't have to speak. Here's everything you need.

And bring some friends...

3.  Sign the petition.   Sign our petition now.  VCN will present the petition to County Commissioners and the GOP County Chair to show support for countywide Election Day voting. (The Democratic Party already supports Vote Centers.)

4. Email the decision makers.  If you can't make a meeting to stand up in person, do it with an email.  Send emails (or call) our county judge, the county commissioner who represents your district and the Denton County Republican Party chair.  Here's a link to an email that will go to all of them, along with sample text you can use.

If you have a personal connection to one of them, here's their individual contact information.

And remember to...

5. Support and vote for candidates who support Vote Centers.  In November 2026, two of the commission members who have failed to act on Vote Centers are on the ballot:  County Judge Andy Eads and Commissioner Kevin Falconer (Precinct 2). Both are Republicans.

Their Democratic opponents all support countywide Election Day voting.  They are Nick Pappas, running for county judge, and Candace Valenzuela, running for Precinct 2 Commissioner.

The GOP will pick a candidate for the Precinct 4 Commissioner in late May.  The Democratic candidate is Stephanie Draper.
