Tell the decision makers you want countywide Election Day voting now!

Denton County is governed by five elected officials:  the County Judge, who is the county executive elected countywide, and four precinct commissioners who each represent one of four parts of the county.   At least three of them must approve countywide Election Day voting -- Vote Centers.

In addition, to have countywide Election Day voting in all elections, the agreement of the heads of the county Democratic and Republican parties are required by the state of Texas.  The Democratic County chair is ready to approve countywide Election Day voting now, but the GOP Chair has refused to act.

Below is a list of the the decision makers you should email or call about this issue:

• Send an email or call County Judge Andy Eads. He holds a countywide office and is up for reelection in 2026.

• Send an email or call the precinct County Commissioner who represents your area.

Below are the four precinct commissioners, their email addresses and phone numbers, and the cities each represents.  If you know your voting precinct number, it's easy:  your commission precinct is the first digit of your precinct number, for example, if your precinct number is 1234, you are in Commission Precinct 1.

If there's an asterisk (*) next to your city in the list below it means it is split among two or more commissioners.  If you see an asterisk or if your city is not on the list, follow the steps at the bottom of the page to find out who your county commissioner is.
